Kihooto fm is a vernacular radio station broadcasting purely in Kikuyu language. Kihooto FM is a 24Hr broadcasting station. We are currently running on three frequencies 91.2FM capturing the whole of Nakuru , Nyandarua and Laikipia Counties. 107.4FM. covering Murang’a, Embu , Kirinyaga , Meru and Tharaka-Nithi Counties. And 100.4FM Nyeri County and it’s environs.

Our content is agriculture skewed; the main economic and social activity of the majority of our population within coverage. Kihooto FM seeks to  empower the audience on safe modern methods of farming to boost their produce. Experts are hosted in various programs with an aim of training  farmers on value addition and creation of cottage industries. As a result we create a wealthy population that is capable of feeding its people, reduce domestic conflicts and petty crimes in our rural and peri-urban areas.
