Starting out in private practice in Vryburg, Dr Dulcy observed the impact of workers returning from the mines and how this brought illnesses into the local community. This sparked her interest in occupational health and cemented the idea that people need access to healthcare near where they work and near where they live. This remains quadcare’s central vision today. quadcare was born in 2019 when Dr Dulcy teamed up with a consortium of investors to further support her dream of providing access to healthcare on a large scale. The combination of Dr Dulcy’s passion for clinical excellence and entrepreneurial spirit together with the diverse set of commercial skills among investors has ideally positioned quadcare for growth to address the ever-present need for access to healthcare for all South Africans.

Today we operate an expanding network of primary healthcare clinics across Gauteng as well as a walk-in occupational health centre in Turffontein, Johannesburg.
