Bale Mountain Lodge is an 11 bedroomed eco, wilderness lodge in the Bale Mountains National Park (BMNP) of south central Ethiopia. More than a Lodge, we sponsor research, and link with conservation bodies to enhance knowledge of the Park and its precious endemics. The owners, Yvonne and Guy are honoured and thrilled to have had two species of endemics ‘discovered’ in the last couple of years, named after them, for their help with research projects and dedication to conservation. We produce our own ‘green’ energy by means of our hydro system, and manage all systems with a view to preserving the pristine nature of the environment.
