Building Material International Market Ogidi is located along Onitsha- Enugu Express Road about 7 kilometers away from Onitsha. The market is built on a large parcel of land measuring about 5.901 hectares purchased from Nkwelle ogidi Community in Ogidi town in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria.

The old Market was set up in July 1998, and it has undergone many changes in the past 21 years. The last election held in the market was conducted on January 30th 2017. This election produced the current executive committee led by Chief Jude Nwankwo(Aka)(JOLLITY VENTURES) OCHENDO UMUAWULU AND EZEUDO BUILDING MATERIALS. A young ebullient and intelligent leader (President General), Mr. Cyril Ugwuja(Vice President). Evangelist Runcie Chinwuko (Secretary), Mr. I.K. Nkwo (Asst.
