Balera Community Bank was incorporated on 25th– February, 1991 and later changed its name to Balera Microfinance Bank ltd on 27th-June, 2009 after its successful conversion from a Community Bank.

The Bank comprises of highly professional and qualified Management Staffs who are well experienced in the day to day Banking Operations. The Bank also has very highly profiled individuals as Board of Directors who are successful Bankers, Business Moguls at both National and International level and Civil Servant at all level of Government.

The Bank spent almost 30years rendering good and qualitative services to its numerous customers both within and immediate environment. In its about 30 years in operation, Balera Microfinance Bank helps in the establishments of significant number of Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs)  through the Bank soft loans granted to the SMEs, it equally helps in developing successful farmers through dry/rainy season Agricultural loans among others. The Bank also engaged in contract financing, supply of Good and Services, supply of Agricultural inputs like Fertilizers etc.
