Berea Pharmacy was established in 1934 and has been family owned by ourselves since 1970.

We are one of the largest independent, family-owned pharmacies in South Africa and have been serving the people of East London for 50 years.  Today, we still serve many very special customers who have supported us since we took over the business in 1970 and we continue to welcome many new faces every day!

We built our business through offering exceptional, professional service to our customers, and customer service is still our number one priority.  We are open 7 days a week for our customers’ convenience and we offer a very wide range of products and services at very competitive prices.

Our Dispensary and Clinic comprises 20 qualified, professional staff members, who have a combined professional experience of over 280 years.  They, together with around 40 additional support staff, aim to offer you the very best in professional and healthcare assistance.
