In 2000, Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd.(BUCG) took over the old ‘Bintumani Hotel’, investing more than 10 million USD Dollars to refurbish such a scarred and battered hotel. After about three years renovation, the hotel reopened in 2003, renewing and surpassing its past prosperity, becoming the largest and best hotel in Sierra Leone.
