Situated in a mining town, Bogoso in the western Region of Ghana, Bogoso Golden Hotel was Established in 1996 with only 22 rooms with the view to provide accommodation to a small group of people and companies who come to Bogoso-Prestea area to undertake business either on their own or for the mining companies, as Bogoso and Prestea are predominantly mining towns. However due to the ever increasing demand for accommodation as a result of the expansion in mining activities in the Bogoso Prestea and environs, and the creation of a new district, the Prestea Huni Valley District in the year 2008 with the district capital at Bogoso township, and the concomitant increase in economic activities in Bogoso, the challenge to increase the accommodation facilities to meet the increasing demand has become imperative. The hotel since its inception has thus, increased its accommodation facilities by about 100%, (5) Executive Rooms, eighteen (18) Standard Rooms and eighteen (18) Budget Rooms. The different room types were set up to meet the varied needs of our vast range of guests, be it people of higher or lower economic standing , short or long term stay at affordable prices, thereby ensuring that good customer satisfaction is assured.
