Bonnins Estates (Pty) Ltd was the creation of Robert and Philip Bonnin in 1969.  The firm originally traded from offices in Umbilo and Durban North.  This partnership was so successful, the brothers which now included their wives, were approached by Allied Agencies (ABSA), to run divisions from the Bonnins offices, creating one of the biggest independent Allied Agencies within the Northern Municipality.
