ENE FM is an educative, inspiring, entertaining and informative commercial Radio broadcasting Station based in Wote, headquarters of Makueni County. Our station/studios are located close to the people for more objective and focused reporting. Our programming captures the aspirations of the Kamba community and to the larger youthful demographics in the lower Eastern hence providing one of the unrivaled advertisement platform available targeting the lower eastern regions of Kenya.

Demographics

To capture a wider audience we broadcast in Kamba, English and Kiswahili depending on the target audience. Of significance is the growing elite youthful generation within our coverage areas. Over half the population 60% of listeners is above 19 years of age who form the economically active group between while 40% are older than 60.

Women make 55.2% of the population since the region is primarily rural. General literacy rates are above 30%. Our broadcast is 24/7 hours and our programming suits the entire family audience with special attention to the youth, children and adult programs.

Our current reach is slightly above 3,000,000 audience daily with coverage to all the three counties – Machakos, Kitui and Makueni and the larger Kajiado, Taita Taveta counties
