Ere City Microfinance Bank Limited was incorporated on March 26, 2009 by the Ere-Ijesa City Improvement Union as a private limited liability company to cater to the banking needs of the citizens of Ere-Ijesa and its environs, but officially commenced operation on 15th February 2010 as a Unit Microfinance Bank to provide innovative, efficient and professional financial and business advisory services to micro and small businesses, facilitating savings and growth to alleviate poverty and create wealth.
