As a big family-owned vegetable farming enterprise we take pride in our skill and knowledge as farmers to cultivate the best quality produce.

The idea for us to expand and diversify started in April 2019 – the same time that the legislation to cultivate and export medicinal cannabis was published in the government gazette. We explored the idea to venture into a new sustainable green farming structure.

After visiting America in July 2019 we had a clear vision of what we wanted to do and so FarmaGrowers (Farm+Pharma+Growers) was born. FarmaGrowers started breaking soil in September 2019 and completed the project in August 2020.

Our state-of-the-art, GMP Compliant facility is 100% sponsored by one of South Africa’s leading banks. Projects such as this are usually financed by investors in the public sector but due to the reputational risk factor, we are proud to have a bank as a financial partner and sponsor – a first in world history.
