Fiagya Rural Bank was established on 14th July, 1984 at Busunya in the Nkoranza North District of the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana, under the Companies Act 1963 (Act 179) and the Banking Act 2004 (Act 673) as amended by the Banking Amendment Act 2016 (Act 930). Its financial statements are prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standard.

The Bank was opened with the aim of mobilizing Savings and also delivery of Credit to its clients in the catchment area. With over 39 years of operation, the Bank has five-member Board of Directors and a Solid Management Team with determination of delivering efficient and effective, Fast Reliable Banking Services.
