Foster’s Manor (Ostrich Feather Palace), build in 1904, is an establishment of South Cape TVET College. Charles Bullock, the great British sandstone architect, was the creator of the building. James Alexander Foster, a local attorney, instructed Bullock to design a double-storey mansion for him. Foster called the mansion ‘Rus in Ubre’, formally known as Foster’s Folly and later renamed Foster’s Manor. The Manor is a National Monument and has recently been restored to its former glory. It has eight en suite guest rooms, is three star graded and offers bed and breakfast as well as conference facilities. Guests will experience a culinary array of flavours mingling on the cold and hot breakfast buffet served in the dining room. Although we do not serve dinner we can make dinner reservations at excellent nearby restaurants. We hope that we will have the pleasure of making your acquaintance real soon. Conference Venue: Offers conference facilities for up to 18 people.
