Imowo Microfinance Bank Limited was formerly Imowo Community Bank Limited incorporate in June 23rd 1993 under Community Bank Decree No 46 of 1992 and commenced Community Banking operations same year at 14, Ibadan Road, the business centre of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

The Central Bank of Nigeria granted the bank a Community Banking licence No 000208 in year 2002 which replaced the provisional Licence issued by National Board of Community Banks and incorporated as Imowo Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited in year 2006.

Imowo Microfinance Bank (IMFB) having gone through a rebirth, the bank has repositioned itself to provide first class value adding services to its customers.

Presently, the bank has two branches at 9, Ibadan Road, Ijebu-Ode and at Nigerian General Post Office Building, Folagbade Road, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria.

We seek to serve our clients by providing them short term access to financial services that are client focused, designed to enhance their well-being, and delivered in a manner that is ethical, dignified, transparent, participatory, timely equitable and cost effective.

The operation is computerized and we are serving over 21,000 customers. The bank started to make profit from 1995 and has continued to grow ever since Annual Profit after taxation grew from N339,788.00 in 1997 to N20,6million in 2018.

The bank is engineered with seasoned, experienced and competent bankers, thus ensuring efficient service delivery and professional business conduct.

The Board of the bank is made up of (6) six members, the qualification and experience made the extent of direction, leadership and involvement provided to senior management adequate.
