peru Microfinance Bank Ltd. (IMBL) formerly Iperu Community Bank Nig. Ltd. was incorporated as a limited liability company on 7th May, 1991 and it commenced business activities on 16th September, 1991. It transformed into a Unit Microfinance Bank in September, 2007. It engages in the business of community banking as a limited liability by the Community Banks Act 1992. The head office is located at Dapo Soyege house, 120 Akesan Road, Iperu Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. It was transformed in line with the CBN Microfinance Policy Regulatory and Supervisory Framework of 2005 which was revised in September, 2013 with the main objective of making credit available to the active poor and small entrepreneurs who are denied of such access by the conventional banks. The bank has since inception engaging in making microloans available to the active poor to assist them in running their businesses. At present, the Board of Directors of the Bank comprises of Seven (7) members.
