Isuofia Microfinance Bank Limited opened for business on 22nd February 1992. The Bank was commissioned by His Excellency Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Okwadike Igbo-Ukwu, and then Governor of Anambra State. The bank started as a Community Bank with a shareholders’ fund of N250, 000.00. Since then it has growth strength to strength. In 2007 the Bank transformed to a Microfinance Bank as a result of Central Bank of Nigeria policy that directed all existing community banks in Nigeria to convert to Microfinance Banks. On 22nd March, 2017 the bank migrated from a Unit microfinance bank to a State microfinance bank.
