Itambira Island, Seeds of Hope, offers a variety of colourful and characterful accommodation including idyllic treehouses and African-style roundhouses – all fully equipped with en-suite bathrooms. There is also a 3-bedroomed cottage suitable for families or small groups and budget/backpacker accommodation.
A good supply of power is ensured by our generator and there is also plentiful hot and cold water.
Day visitors are also welcome to enjoy the fabulous views and the restaurant offers snacks and meals throughout the day as well as drinks. Local and international food plus wood-fired pizza and regular barbecues.
Swim off our jetty or take a boat trip to go birdwatching. Local handicrafts can also be purchased in our information centre.

Itambira Island is set in Uganda’s beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, offering a variety of hotel/bed and breakfast accommodation. Day visitors are made very welcome at our restaurant, bar and snack bar.
