Lucas Real Estate Group opened its doors on the 1st of March 2015 by Lucas van Vuuren after being in the Real Estate industry for 15 years and working for National Franchises in the Western Cape. Starting with 3 offices, and only 9 agents.  Over the years LRE Group grew into the Leading Realty Experts, now known by so many happy clients, servicing the Cape Peninsula from 5 offices and, since July 2020, also from the southernmost tip of Africa, Cape Agulhas, with almost 50 agents.

Taking the property industry to the next level and becoming a Multi-Award Winning Real Estate Brand, receiving 3 International Property Awards for 3 consecutive years for 2016, 2017, and 2018. In 2019 also received a Global Brands Award for being the Leading Real Estate Brand in South Africa.

Launching the “We Do Business in Your Language” in 2018 made LRE Group the first real estate company offering its services in 6 languages, namely, Afrikaans, English, Xhosa, Zulu, Arabic, and Chinese.  The goal was to include more culture into the brand and to grow beyond the limits of a language barrier.
