Located in Johannesburg, the picturesque ‘city of gold’ in South Africa, Macleods Pharmaceuticals SA (PTY) Ltd is a subsidiary of Macleods Pharma India.
We commenced our operations in South Africa through subsidiary in 2006. Our products are manufactured across our multiple manufacturing units in India and then supplied to South Africa, to meet the needs of patients here.

Our operations in South Africa have been driven by the market for essential medicines such as anti-TB and ARV products. This has been enabled by our research and development driven product formulations following high standards of quality.

We have been expanding our product portfolio, by registering and launching relevant products in the South African market. To our credit, we have registered approximately 90+ products with SAHPRA as of September 2022. We continue to file product registrations in these markets and launch products once we obtain the registrations.
