Modern Hotel, is a family-owned and operated located at the heart of Mount Barclay, just on the outskirt of Paynesville Liberia. It is about a 1-hour drive from Monrovia International Airport. Very clean, secure, and customer friendly.

It features two bars and a Restaurant. One bar upstairs and one downstairs. The Restaurant has two sections for your convenience. The enclosed section has Air condition and the other open without Air condition. The kitchen specializes in traditional Liberian dishes. Foreign or international dishes could be made on-demand. It also features outdoor picnic huts for those who want want to enjoy a cold drink outside.

Coming soon will be our 24-hour swimming pool that will be open to the public. WIFI is not available in the lobby, restaurant and downstairs bar. Very soon we will have WiFi in all of the rooms.

Modern Hotel has 24 hours of Electricity and AC in all the rooms. The rooms are very spacious clean with a desk and a coffee table. It has a special bathroom and hot water heater fixed in every bathroom. There are three categories of room. Standard, Deluxe, and VIP Rooms. Our prices are very affordable. For a longer stay, you can talk to management about a special pricing arrangement.
