Carol Sekano graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a degree in Optometry in 2006. For a period of 8 years, she worked for major optometry franchise groups in South Africa where she
gained valuable experience.

Carol’s sense of adventure and the need to serve an underserviced community led her to Zimbabwe. Together with her husband Tumi Sekano who is also an optometrist, they spent 3 years providing optometric services in Harare. During her stay in Zimbabwe, a passion to provide excellent eyecare with affordable and fashionable eyewear was evoked, hence the move to join Neovision which is grounded on the same principles.
