Nice Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited, previously called Nise Community Bank Nigeria Limited commenced operation on May 20, 1994 after it was initially incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) in 1990 as a Limited Liability Company on September 1, 1993 by the Corporate Affair Commission (CAC) to carry out Community banking Business.
The CBN approved the upgrade of the MFB from a Unit to a State MFB in February 3, 2014 and the opening of six branches at Onitsha (Nkpor Market Opposite New Motor Parts and Bridgehead Drug Market), Awka (Eke-Awka Market Our Line Section and Timber Market Umuokpu), Nise (Ngene-Oka Market Square, Ngodo Village) and Omor all in Anambra State.
