The ROYALE GARDEN HOSTEL COMPLEX was conceived by Chief Engr. Anthony Adibe “Ezeugo n’ Ukpo” Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Royale Garden Hostel Complex Limited, Ukwulu. He commissioned Group Capt Sir Benson Okoye ( Rtd) Mnia, Chief Executive Officer, Longben Construction Company Nigeria Limited to design and construct the scheme.
The scheme accommodates 450 residents, across three blocks, with Block A hosting 90 single studio rooms and 90 residents, and Blocks B and C, 90 double (studio) rooms each and 180 residents each. Other facilities present in the Hostel complex are as follows;

Purpose built security Post/Gate house, equipped with closed circuit, Television/monitors, networked to cameras installed in strategic locations across the complex.
Total of 280 studio rooms A,B and C, with functional and beautiful hard and soft furnishing in place. Collective capacity to accommodate 466 residents. Each room having its own toilet/bathroom and kitchenette with adequate storage for dry food rations.
Two appropriately equipped waiting rooms per Bock.
Restaurant that can host 150 diners at a sitting.
Standalone multipurpose hall with water sanitation and hygiene (WASH) facilities adequately equipped to sit a maximum of 200 people. The multipurpose hall will also double as a worship centre, for church services or fellowships, and other responsible public functions (i.e. seminars, workshops, conferences, graduation reception and celebration ceremonies.)1.
Gymnasium that can accommodate up to 50 users concurrently.
Adequately equipped common room, can sit 50 to 100 people, located at the top of the main entrance porch in Block B.
Total of three furnished and equipped Matron’s Suites, across the three Blocks for resident Matrons.
Hall master’s/porter’s lodge.
Pharmacy with sick bay.
Business centre with internet café
Unisex salon and beauty parlor.
Grocery Store.
Recreational facility with outdoor games.
Two boreholes, each with an over hand tank with storage capacity of 10,000 liters per tank.
2 units of 250kva sound proof generators.
Dedicated transformer for the complex.
A maintenance block in the complex, with mechanical and electrical services workshop space, carpentry workshop, pool room for 1o artisans and office space for maintenance manager.
Two spacious basement stores for spares and carcass.
Provision of office spaces for proprietor, facility manager, consultant, meeting room, administrative manager’s office, porter’s/matron’s office, general office, reception/front office.
Renewable energy (solar) to ensure 24/7 lighting for security lights, external lights, lighting of corridors, passages, business center and the admin office.
Paved car park (asphalt wearing course finish) with ample parking space and street lighting.
Paved and lighted access road to and within the hostel complex, with asphalt wearing course finish
