Rushaga Gorilla Camp is a haven for trekking the world-famous Silverback Mountain Gorillas within the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (only 10 mins away) a highlight for all travellers & adventurers alike, and a reason why you should visit Uganda.

The 7 Rushaga mountain gorilla groups include; Mishaya, Kahungye, Nshongi, Bweza, Rwigi, Kutu, and Busingye. However, the groups in Nkuringo & Nyakagezi gates can be tracked from this location. Also at this location are the different forest walks, all with breathtaking views of the Kigezi Highlands. As well as the Batwa Cultural Experience; Learn the ways of the people who lived in the forest for hundreds of years.

Other nearby attractions include Lake Bunyonyi for canoeing, bird watching tours, and an evening of traditional music, dance, and culture around the bonfire. Lake Mutanda for the visits to the Islands of the African Rock Pythons, and finally Mgahinga National park for Golden Monkey trekking.
