With our Specialty Medicine entity, we are present in immunology, rare diseases and hematology, oncology, neurology and multiple sclerosis.

With our General Medicine entity, we play an essential role in diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, transplantation and established products.
With our Vaccines entity, we protect children, adolescents and adults against many infectious diseases.

Through our entity dedicated to Consumer Health, we are a major player in the field of pain, allergies, coughs and colds, digestive health.

The know-how of our industrial teams, combined with the advanced technologies of our production sites, have paved the way for us, over the years, through our various sites, to local manufacturing at the service of Algerian patients for 22 years.

Our commitment has resulted in the increase in the manufacturing rate of Sanofi products available in Algeria to 74% in 2021 vs 65% in previous years and the establishment in Algeria of the largest pharmaceutical industrial complex in Africa.

Sanofi’s industrial complex within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology center of the new city of Sidi Abdallah is the project that best summarizes Sanofi’s long-term commitment in Algeria alongside authorities and public authorities, health professionals and Algerian patients.

Inaugurated in 2018, it is one of the only sites in Algeria that brings together production, warehousing and logistics on a single platform for better customer satisfaction in terms of optimizing logistics flows and saving time.

It is the most important pharmaceutical industrial site in Algeria by its geographical coverage, because it is located on a plot of 6.6 hectares and because of its volumes, it will eventually make it possible to manufacture 85% of Sanofi’s products locally. with 100 million units of various pharmaceutical specialties in different therapeutic areas.
