School Equipment Production Unit (SEPU)
SEPU is a government AGENCY under the Ministry of Education with a sole mandate of designing, manufacturing, supplying, and distributing science materials and apparatus to educational institutions in Kenya.

SEPU plays a key role in national development especially in the pursuit of national goals of education.
SEPU’S mandate empowers the institution to act as a hinge point in the lever system of curriculum development and design especially with the paradigm shift to CBC system of education.

SEPU is home to the Mobile Laboratory, Integrated Science Kits, laboratory Chemicals, Glassware’s, and general apparatus.
We pride ourselves in providing unmatched high quality and standard STEM materials to educational Institutions.

We are headquartered on Ngong Road inside University of Nairobi Kenya Science Campus Nairobi.

SERVICE PROVISION
SEPU offers the following services.
• Fitting of laboratory gas system.
• Fitting of laboratory water and drainage system.
• Designing and fabrication of laboratory and general school furniture.
• Designing and fitting computer laboratory furniture.
• Developing and dissemination of information on science using manual and guides.
• Repairing and maintenance of laboratory equipment eg. Power packs, microscopes, oscilloscopes, balances, stop clocks, ammeters, voltmeters stop clocks, Ammeter, Voltmeter.
• Converting classrooms into science or computer laboratories.
• Exporting products and services to many parts of the world.
