Sharon Paints and Chemical Company Nigeria Limited was incorporated and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission Abuja in 1984 and commenced business the same year.

The company started business within the interior Umuoka Village Road in Udi with a Staff of 5 as a Small Scale Industry. With virtually little or no working capital, the company manually processed and produced paint for the Nigerian Market. The company which had little chance of success because of the raw material crunch witnessed at the time miraculously grew, thanks to the hand of the Almighty God that was upon our amiable and hardworking Managing Director Mr. Osita Nduka and the Executive Director at the time, Barrister Josiah Rapuluchuks Nduk
