Shompole Wilderness is a fun and wild place. Lucky to be placed under the huge fig trees on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, that runs down the Great Rift Valley into Lake Natron. Shompole Conservancy is located on the Kenya – Tanzania border and is half way between Amboseli National Park and the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve making Shompole Wilderness a great addition to a southern circuit safari.

Great place to see the Great Rift Valley, flamingoes, Masai culture, nocturnal mammals.

Fun things to do:
Game drives (day and night), walking, tracking in the dust, baboon walks, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, walking with cattle, sundowners, bush meals.
