Songhai Insurance Brokers is an offshoot of Songhai Trust & Services Ltd., an indigenous company with interest in diversified concerns.The company was incorporated on 18th April 2001 with registration number RC 404523 and was granted operating license by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) on 24th July, 2002, to practice Insurance Broking and allied consultancy services.

Following the approval by NAICOM to practice, the company was also duly registered as a bona fide member of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) in 2002. Songhai Insurance Brokers Limited was established in proactive response to the emerging demand for professionalism by dynamic institutions desirous of insurance cover in the 21st century.
