Taasisi Sacco was estalished in 1983 with the aim of promoting thrift and improving the welfare of the K.I.E staff at that time.The Sacco has since grown and obtained membership Out of Common Bond(non-employees of the currently KICD).Though going through various challenges,the Sacco has managed to show achievements in various fields.
For instance,in 2015 Ushirika day celebrations,Taasisi Sacco managed to emerge …….2nd position in Best in Loaning facilities/Credit Management Parastal Sector……2nd position in Lowest Expenditure-Parastatal Category……3rd position in Best in Training and Education Services- Parastal sector.
The Sacco PROUDLY walked away with Two VICTORY cups and three certificates.
Taasisi Sacco,as a Credit and Saving Society,offers different types of Loans namely:,
1.Normal Loans which is offered for a maximum period of 5 years at the rate of 1% reducing balance
2.Emergency loan maximum period of 1 year i.e 12 months at the rate of 1% reducing balance
3.School fees and College fees loans maximum period of 12 months at the rate of 1% reducing balance
4.Dhahabu loan maximum period of 2 years at the rate of 1.2% reducing balance
5.Special loan maximum period of 6 months at a compound interest rate of 15%
6.Okoa loan maximum period of 1 month at a compound interest rate of 10%.Amount should not exceed 5000.
*We also offer a Top Up Loan which helps one to clear a particular loan that MUST have been cleared half way.
