– Tara Hospital was the house of Walter Frederick Tillet in 1938 a man of Irish descent and named after a hill in Country Meath Ireland.
– Tara Hospital was purchased in 1942 by the government to serve as an inland command headquarters of the Union Defence Force but was later loaned to the Red Cross for their plastic surgery unit.
