Hwange Main Camp (S18 43 824 E026 57 097) is perhaps the most well-known of the camps in the Hwange National Park (formerly Wankie), and is easily reachable via tarred road. The area around the camp has many waterholes and pans where you can watch the passing parade of game. Visit the Dom waterhole to see a spectacular sunset. You have a choice of self-catering lodges, chalets, cottages, as well as a camping and caravan site.
