The campus was officially opened by the Most. Reverend Bishop Alex Thomas Kaliyanil (the Archbishop of Bulawayo) on May 9 2014. The opening of this campus was one of the many ways in which the University aims at expanding the instituition and growing student numbers, in line with its vision of being the University of choice for holistic education in a christian setting.
