Khomasdal Campus is situated in the suburb of Khomasdal, Windhoek, in a previously marginalized area. With this campus the University was brought closer to the community of Northwest Windhoek. It is centrally located, just across the road from the vibrant shopping Centre Khomas Grove and within walking distance from the Medical Campus, and other medical facilities.

As one of the former Colleges of Education, the campus is mainly home to teacher education students specializing in primary education. We currently offer a four year B. Ed. Pre- and Lower Primary and the B. Ed Upper Primary Degrees on campus. Students get a well-rounded education in all relevant fields, and ample opportunities for practical activities and school based experiences are provided. Students can specialize in various languages across all phases (English, Afrikaans, German, Otjiherero, Khoekhoegowab, Oshindonga and Oshikwanyama).

The campus is regarded as the local Centre of excellence for Pre- and Lower Primary Education, but also houses courses from other faculties and centers.

The University of Namibia Language Centre provides English language upgrading courses to first year undergraduate and diploma students at the Khomasdal Campus. It also provides a range of needs-based special and short courses for adult learners wishing to improve their English. A range of courses in Namibian and foreign languages are also offered.

The campus also hosts the Science Foundation Programme, aimed at facilitating entrance to degree programmes for applicants not fully meeting the entry requirements for such programmes.

The campus has 4 student residences, a campus kaferetia and various sport facilities. The campus has free Wi-Fi available to all staff and students, and also have a Library and Information Centre with a computer centre where students can work on assignments.

A variety of student activities are organized under the Student Representative Council, which functions under the Office of the Dean of Students. Students are further supported by a full time social worker.

In their free time students can relax in the campus gardens, the braai area or in the TV rooms or , the leisure centre. They can also visit the newly completed Campus Gym.

The campus offers a safe environment for students to pursue their academic and social activities.

Follow Florence Nightingale Street in a westerly direction. Turn left into Andrew Kloppers Street, and look out for the campus on the right.
