This is a farmers TV where information is researched and presented in the simplest form and way possible through farmer’s interaction, dialogues, simulations, demonstrations and narrations.in Kiswahili and kikuyu. Our reach, Utugi Tv is a digital TV on free to air platform and targets the mass populations of Nairobi, Nyeri Muranga,Nakuru, Laikipia, Meru, Narok, Kiambu and Embu. Target audience, We target the active and passive farmers of all ages both large-scale and small -scale, who require factual information on Good agricultural practices (GAPs) in livestock farming, cash crops, aquaculture horticulture and floriculture. To achieve this we have partnered with agricultural organizations, research and financial institutions, farmers groups, cooperative societies and Saccos as well as County governments to prepare and present programs with the sole aim of promoting agriculture in Kenya.
