Valco Technologies was founded in 2005, with the sole purpose of providing innovative customised Software to the South African market.

Since then we have worked for various companies and have gone through different iterations, mostly making use of sub-contractors to help when the load was to big.

In 2012 we decided to take it to the next step, moving to bigger offices and employing additional professionals, bringing everything in-house.

Most of our work has been for Companies in the Financial Industry and related Industries; Lending, Insurance, Debt Collecting, Stock Exchange, Call Centres, Brokerages, and so on, up to and including the Farming Industry. We also did work for a variety of small businesses. That’s just the systems done in-house, our current staff’s experience go a lot further.

We are currently focusing on two main areas in our business, Software Development and IT Infrastructure, making use of the latest Prince 2 Project Management methodologies. This goes hand in hand and often compliment each other nicely. IT infrastructure is quickly moving to the cloud and is becoming a very specialised service, but with great rewards, giving the small and medium business the same benifits as any large corporation, at a fraction of the cost.
