Western Nyota Television is established as a regional television network to provide regionally significant content to Western Kenya. An important aspect of provision of regionally significant content is to provide for programmes on economic, social and political issues of public interest. Western Nyota Television is fully licensed by the Communication Authority of Kenya.

Western Nyota Television is fully registered to broadcast in Bungoma, Busia, Kakamega, Trans Nzoia (Kitale) and Vihiga counties.We broadcast in all the nineteen languages of Luhya together with Teso. In due course, for selected programming, Swahili and English will be included.

Western Nyota Television is complimented Radio RA which also provides locally significant content.
