Ledit service est ouvert aux banques traditionnelles, aux banques rurales, ainsi qu\u2019aux soci\u00e9t\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9pargne et de pr\u00eat aux particuliers et aux entreprises.<\/p>\n<p>Le service GhanaPay est ouvert \u00e0 toute personne ayant acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un t\u00e9l\u00e9phone mobile, avec ou sans compte bancaire traditionnel. Il fonctionne comme le service d\u2019argent mobile existant, mais offre \u00e9galement des services bancaires suppl\u00e9mentaires. Selon le vice-pr\u00e9sident ghan\u00e9en, Mahamudu Bawumia, cette initiative r\u00e9volutionnaire vient renforcer la vision du gouvernement en mati\u00e8re d\u2019inclusion financi\u00e8re, en particulier pour la population non bancaris\u00e9e, ceci gr\u00e2ce aux services bancaires num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n<p>Le lancement de ce service intervient dans un contexte marqu\u00e9 par la transformation num\u00e9rique acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e et \u00ab\u2009les pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences accrues des consommateurs pour les options de paiement pratiques et sans friction\u2009\u00bb. Selon Ernest Addison, gouverneur de la Banque du Ghana, le volume des transactions de paiement instantan\u00e9 est pass\u00e9 de 420\u2009000 cedis (environ 52\u2009800 USD) en 2016 \u00e0 31,4 milliards de cedis en 2021. En outre, l\u2019argent liquide en circulation dans le pays, par rapport au produit int\u00e9rieur brut (PIB), a chut\u00e9 de 6,8 % en 2016 \u00e0 4,7 % en 2021, tandis que le nombre de ch\u00e8ques utilis\u00e9s par habitant est pass\u00e9 de 25,67 en 2016 \u00e0 18,9 en 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u2009En \u00e9tablissant ce portefeuille mobile commun GhanaPay, le co\u00fbt de l\u2019essai de toute nouvelle technologie pour chaque banque est r\u00e9duit et permet de nouvelles fa\u00e7ons de faire des affaires.
