L\u2019okok est un repas que l\u2019on retrouve le plus souvent sur les tables de certaines familles plus ou moins ais\u00e9e des r\u00e9gions Centre , Sud et Est. Il a r\u00e9ussi l\u2019exploit d\u2019int\u00e9grer les habitudes alimentaires des populations camerounaises de tout bord.<\/p>\n<p>Une recette assez simple<br \/>\nSe faire plaisir \u00e0 partir d\u2019un plat d\u2019okok , n\u2019est pas l\u2019\u00e9quation la plus difficile \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre.Il faut d\u00e9bourser en moyenne 2500 \u00e0 4000f pour un plat d\u2019okok , pour environs 4 \u00e0 5 personnes. En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, l\u2019on a deux recettes reconnues du plat d\u2019okok \u00e0 savoir : L\u2019okok sucr\u00e9-sal\u00e9 dit \u00ab okok Etons \u00bb , reconnu au peuple Ekang, avec pour particularit\u00e9 l\u2019utilisation de la pulpe de noix de palmes, du sucre et du sel en m\u00eame temps.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019okok sal\u00e9 dit \u00ab okok basa\u2019a \u00bb, aussi bien identifi\u00e9 chez les yambassa dans le grand Mbam, r\u00e9gion du Centre. Il se fait sans sucre et \u00e0 l\u2019huile de palme.<\/p>\n<p>Il faut relever que ces deux recettes d\u2019okok ont deux ingr\u00e9dients en commun \u00e0 savoir les arachides et s\u2019accompagne g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des tubercules de manioc ou des b\u00e2tons de manioc.<br \/>\nEn d\u00e9finitive que ce soit l\u2019un ou l\u2019autre ce plat est un plat tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 par l\u2019ensemble des camerounais sans distinction d\u2019ethnie , il fait d\u00e9sormais partie du patrimoine culinaire du Cameroun, qui a su vendre les atouts culturels , du pays de Paul Biya, lors de
