Le Tadrart Acacus en berb\u00e8re (qui signifie \u00ab\u00a0Montagne de Acacus\u00a0\u00bb) est une zone d\u00e9sertique de l’ouest de la Libye, connue pour abriter un site arch\u00e9ologique pr\u00e9historique libyen important pour ses peintures rupestres pr\u00e9sentant hommes et animaux, aujourd’hui disparus de cette r\u00e9gion du Sahara. Ces figures sont dat\u00e9es de 12 000 av. J.-C. \u00e0 100 apr. J.-C.. Elles repr\u00e9sentent des girafes, \u00e9l\u00e9phants, autruches, chameaux, hommes et chevaux. Des figures humaines sont dessin\u00e9es dans ce qui semble \u00eatre des sc\u00e8nes de la vie quotidienne : danses, chants…. Elles nous interrogent sur les changements culturels, \u00e9cologiques et climatiques qui ont affect\u00e9 cette zone.<\/p>\n

L’Acacus pr\u00e9sente une grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de paysages, des dunes color\u00e9es aux arches (arches d’Afazedjar et de Tin Khlega), gorges, roches et montagnes. La zone est l’une des plus arides du monde, mais on y trouve quelques v\u00e9g\u00e9taux tels les calotropis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
