Le document de recherche, intitul\u00e9 \u00ab Comment les technologies num\u00e9riques peuvent transformer l\u2019\u00e9ducation en Afrique subsaharienne \u00bb, analyse l\u2019\u00e9tat actuel de l\u2019\u00e9ducation sur le continent. Il montre comment les technologies num\u00e9riques et la connectivit\u00e9, associ\u00e9es aux cadres r\u00e9glementaires n\u00e9cessaires et au soutien des gouvernements et des parties prenantes de l\u2019industrie, peuvent \u00eatre exploit\u00e9es pour r\u00e9duire les obstacles \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ducation sur le continent.<\/p>\n<p>Le rapport de recherche souligne que l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ducation a fortement augment\u00e9 en Afrique au cours des 50 \u00e0 60 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es mais que, malheureusement, cette augmentation de l\u2019acc\u00e8s ne se traduit pas pour autant par une am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019enseignement dispens\u00e9. Lorsqu\u2019ils sont associ\u00e9s \u00e0 une connectivit\u00e9 abordable et fiable, les outils et technologies num\u00e9riques offrent une solution rentable et \u00e9volutive \u00e0 ce probl\u00e8me en permettant aux jeunes d\u2019entrer en contact avec des \u00e9ducateurs hautement qualifi\u00e9s qui peuvent les aider \u00e0 traduire le contenu \u00e9ducatif en connaissances utiles. \u00ab Nous en avons \u00e9t\u00e9 les premiers t\u00e9moins gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 notre \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me de projets et d\u2019initiatives dans le domaine de l\u2019\u00e9ducation, qui visent \u00e0 fournir un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des ressources \u00e9ducatives de qualit\u00e9, \u00e0 soutenir l\u2019apprentissage \u00e0 distance et \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019exp\u00e9rience \u00e9ducative globale des enseignants et des apprenants dans certaines des communaut\u00e9s africaines les plus d\u00e9munies \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Shameel Joosub, PDG du groupe Vodacom.<\/p>\n<p>Notre programme Vodacom e-School en est un excellent exemple, a-t-il ajout\u00e9. L\u2019initiative promeut l\u2019\u00e9ducation num\u00e9rique en offrant un acc\u00e8s gratuit \u00e0 une \u00e9ducation de qualit\u00e9 pour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves de la maternelle \u00e0 la classe de terminale. Cela comprend l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 du mat\u00e9riel d\u2019apprentissage num\u00e9rique (comme des manuels interactifs, du contenu multim\u00e9dia et des \u00e9valuations), \u00e0 d\u2019autres ressources p\u00e9dagogiques et \u00e0 des services de soutien. La plateforme est disponible gratuitement sur les appareils mobiles et de bureau pour tous les clients de Vodacom.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab L\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une \u00e9ducation de qualit\u00e9 est essentiel pour lutter contre les cycles interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnels de pauvret\u00e9 et d\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9. Nelson Mandela a toujours soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance de l\u2019\u00e9ducation, non seulement pour l\u2019accomplissement personnel et la transformation individuelle, mais aussi pour faire \u00e9voluer la trajectoire de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 vers l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, la justice et une dignit\u00e9 partag\u00e9e \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le professeur Verne Harris, PDG par int\u00e9rim de la Fondation Nelson Mandela.<\/p>\n<p>S\u2019il est certain que ces innovations num\u00e9riques ont le potentiel de transformer totalement l\u2019\u00e9ducation africaine, un certain nombre d\u2019obstacles \u00e0 l\u2019acc\u00e8s au num\u00e9rique emp\u00eachent les jeunes Africains d\u2019en tirer le meilleur parti. Pour le professeur Jonathan Jansen, expert en \u00e9ducation de renomm\u00e9e internationale et l\u2019un des auteurs du document de recherche, ces obstacles vont du manque d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 fiable, de l\u2019assistance technique limit\u00e9e et de l\u2019acc\u00e8s m\u00e9diocre \u00e0 l\u2019internet aux barri\u00e8res linguistiques, \u00e0 l\u2019instabilit\u00e9 politique et aux normes sociales restrictives. Mais avec les politiques, les infrastructures et les investissements appropri\u00e9s, la num\u00e9risation peut offrir de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s aux jeunes Africains leur permettant de profiter d\u2019un avenir plus \u00e9quitable, plus durable et mieux connect\u00e9, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Chacun de ces obstacles peut \u00eatre surmont\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des partenariats, des interventions et des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes appropri\u00e9s. Il est important de noter que la lev\u00e9e de ces obstacles exige l\u2019engagement politique et le soutien des gouvernements afin de garantir que les m\u00e9canismes mis en place sont appropri\u00e9s, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire qu\u2019ils r\u00e9pondent aux besoins des apprenants et des \u00e9ducateurs africains l\u00e0 o\u00f9 ils se trouvent \u00bb, a poursuivi le professeur Jansen.<\/p>\n<p>Concr\u00e8tement, cela signifie qu\u2019il faut \u00e9laborer et mettre en \u0153uvre des r\u00e9glementations qui soutiennent l\u2019\u00e9ducation num\u00e9rique, \u00e9tablir des partenariats strat\u00e9giques et investir dans l\u2019infrastructure num\u00e9rique. En outre, les gouvernements africains doivent favoriser les projets d\u2019\u00e9ducation num\u00e9rique \u00e0 petite \u00e9chelle et faire un effort concert\u00e9 pour transformer la formation des enseignants afin qu\u2019elle r\u00e9ponde aux exigences de l\u2019apprentissage num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9fi qui nous attend est sans aucun doute ardu, a confirm\u00e9 Joosub. \u00ab Il est essentiel que nous prenions le temps de comprendre l\u2019environnement \u00e9conomique, social et politique de l\u2019Afrique afin de pouvoir r\u00e9unir les bonnes parties prenantes \u2013 des hauts responsables des gouvernements aux \u00e9tudiants dans les salles de classe des coins les plus recul\u00e9s de notre continent \u2013 pour trouver des solutions.
