{"id":37308,"date":"2023-12-06T00:01:41","date_gmt":"2023-12-06T00:01:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/appsaf.apieproject.com\/news\/?p=37308"},"modified":"2023-12-06T00:01:44","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T00:01:44","slug":"en-afrique-les-edtech-commencent-a-emerger-avec-140-millions-leves-entre-2015-et-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/appsaf.apieproject.com\/news\/fr\/2023\/12\/06\/en-afrique-les-edtech-commencent-a-emerger-avec-140-millions-leves-entre-2015-et-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"En Afrique, Les Edtech Commencent \u00c0 \u00c9merger Avec 140 Millions $ Lev\u00e9s Entre 2015 Et 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Malgr\u00e9 leur r\u00f4le tr\u00e8s important dans la d\u00e9mocratisation de l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la connaissance sur un continent o\u00f9 60 % de la population est \u00e2g\u00e9e de moins de 24 ans, les start-ups africaines sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans l\u2019\u00e9ducation (edtechs) ont lev\u00e9 140 millions de dollars seulement durant la p\u00e9riode 2015-2022, selon un rapport publi\u00e9 le 6 septembre par le groupe de r\u00e9flexion sur l\u2019innovation dans le domaine de l\u2019\u00e9ducation Injini Think Tank.<\/p>\n<p>Intitul\u00e9 \u00ab African EdTech Insights Report \u00bb, le rapport pr\u00e9cise que l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2021 a \u00e9t\u00e9 la plus faste durant la p\u00e9riode sous revue, avec 81,03 millions de dollars de financements mobilis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que l\u2019Edtech soit consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant \u00e0 ses d\u00e9buts sur le continent, le nombre des start-ups ayant r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 mobiliser des financements est pass\u00e9 de 210 en 2020 \u00e0 419 en 2022. Les jeunes pousses qui ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 s\u00e9duire les investisseurs au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e se trouvent essentiellement au Nigeria (95), en Afrique du Sud (64), au Kenya (45), en Egypte (36) et au Ghana (22).<\/p>\n<p>Le rapport note cependant que le montant modeste des lev\u00e9es de fonds r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par les start-ups africaines qui s\u2019efforcent de r\u00e9inventer la fa\u00e7on d\u2019apprendre et de se former s\u2019explique essentiellement par le fait que secteur de l\u2019\u00e9ducation est l\u2019un des derniers \u00e0 conna\u00eetre sa r\u00e9volution digitale sur le continent.<\/p>\n<p>1 ten<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me Edtech africain devrait cependant continuer \u00e0 cro\u00eetre et \u00e0 renforcer son attractivit\u00e9 aupr\u00e8s des investisseurs durant les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir, car les besoins en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9ducation sont \u00e9normes et les investissements n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 la construction d\u2019\u00e9coles ou de centres de formation \u00ab physiques \u00bb restent tr\u00e8s co\u00fbteux. Environ un enfant sur cinq n\u2019est pas scolaris\u00e9 sur le continent. Pour les enfants scolaris\u00e9s, les ressources \u00e9ducatives demeurent limit\u00e9es malgr\u00e9 les 224 milliards de dollars inject\u00e9s chaque ann\u00e9e dans le secteur par les gouvernements africains.<\/p>\n<p>Tendances prometteuses<\/p>\n<p>Centre de r\u00e9flexion rattach\u00e9 \u00e0 Injini, l&rsquo;unique acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur de start-ups sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;Edtech en Afrique, Injini Think Tank souligne d\u2019autre part que l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me Edtech africain se compose majoritairement de petites structures, avec des mod\u00e8les d\u2019affaires majoritairement centr\u00e9s sur le B2C. Dans ce cadre, cinq principaux types d\u2019edtechs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9es en Afrique : des start-ups ax\u00e9es sur les enseignants (formation et le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences des \u00e9ducateurs) ; des start-ups focalis\u00e9es sur l&rsquo;apprenant (des solutions p\u00e9dagogiques pour le d\u00e9veloppement de la petite enfance et des ressources pour l&rsquo;enseignement primaire et secondaire) ; des edtechs d\u00e9di\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019apprentissage des langues ; des initiatives Edtech pilot\u00e9es par les gouvernements ; et des jeunes pousses sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans le financement de l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation.<\/p>\n<p>Le rapport indique par ailleurs que de nouvelles tendances tr\u00e8s prometteuses \u00e9mergent dans le secteur. Il s\u2019agit en premier lieu de l\u2019adoption croissante de l\u2019apprentissage mobile (mobile learning), car de nombreux Africains ont un acc\u00e8s plus facile aux t\u00e9l\u00e9phones mobiles qu&rsquo;aux ordinateurs de bureau ou portables.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019intelligence artificielle (IA) et la \u00ab gamification \u00bb (le recours \u00e0 des \u00e9l\u00e9ments et de m\u00e9canismes de jeu tels que les r\u00e9compenses et les points dans des contextes non ludiques) sont aussi de plus en plus int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans les plateformes et les applications Edtech africaines, afin d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer les r\u00e9sultats de l&rsquo;apprentissage.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019IA est notamment utilis\u00e9e pour personnaliser l&rsquo;apprentissage pour chaque \u00e9l\u00e8ve, alors que le gamification rend l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience d&rsquo;apprentissage plus agr\u00e9able et engageante.<\/p>\n<p>Sur un autre plan, l\u2019augmentation des partenariats entre les edtechs d\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9 et les \u00e9tablissements \u00e9ducatifs traditionnels et les gouvernements de l\u2019autre permet d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation et d&rsquo;offrir de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s aux apprenants.<\/p>\n<p>Des d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s aux probl\u00e8mes d\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la technologie (prix des smartphones, faiblesse du r\u00e9seau Internet dans les campagnes, co\u00fbt \u00e9lev\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es mobiles, etc.) restent toutefois \u00e0 relever pour permettre au continent de tirer pleinement parti de l\u2019\u00e9norme potentiel des technologies \u00e9ducatives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le rapport souligne que de nouvelles tendances tr\u00e8s prometteuses \u00e9mergent dans le secteur, comme l\u2019adoption croissante du mobile learning, l\u2019augmentation des partenariats entre les edtechs et les \u00e9tablissements \u00e9ducatifs traditionnels et l\u2019int\u00e9gration accrue de l\u2019intelligence artificielle dans les plateformes d\u2019apprentissage en ligne.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":12963,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[67,73],"tags":[81,78,77],"class_list":{"0":"post-37308","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-actualites","7":"category-technologie","8":"tag-actualites","9":"tag-apie-project-2","10":"tag-technologie"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.4 -
