Le ciel se refl\u00e8te dans les cours d\u2019eau qui sillonnent le paysage. Au milieu de la savane, se d\u00e9tache le mont Brazza, perch\u00e9 \u00e0 500 m\u00e8tres de haut. Les herbes sont hautes, la terre est rouge et les animaux guettent.<\/p>\n<p>Bienvenue au parc national Lop\u00e9-Okanda, qui s\u2019\u00e9tend sur 5\u2009000 km2. C\u2019est l\u2019un des treize parcs nationaux que compte le Gabon, dont les 268\u2009000 km2 sont recouverts \u00e0 plus de 80 % de for\u00eats. Situ\u00e9 \u00e0 400 km \u00e0 l\u2019ouest de Libreville, le site est accessible par le train ou par une route accident\u00e9e, qui, \u00e0 l\u2019horizon 2023, devrait \u00eatre remplac\u00e9e par la Transgabonaise, une voie longue de 780 km reliant Libreville \u00e0 Franceville. Le trac\u00e9 de ce nouveau corridor vient d\u2019\u00eatre modifi\u00e9 pour pr\u00e9server ce joyau naturel.<\/p>\n<p>Devenu parc national en 2002 \u00e0 l\u2019initiative d\u2019Omar Bongo Ondimba, la Lop\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 class\u00e9 en 2007 au patrimoine mondial de l\u2019Unesco. \u00ab D\u00e8s l\u2019arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 la Lop\u00e9, on se sent compl\u00e8tement immerg\u00e9 dans l\u2019environnement, dans la for\u00eat, les animaux \u00bb, t\u00e9moigne Marc, un Franco-Gabonais amoureux du site. Plus encore que des pays tr\u00e8s touristiques comme l\u2019Afrique du Sud ou le Kenya, le Gabon garde une part de myst\u00e8re, dont il enveloppe chaque visiteur.
