Ces donn\u00e9es constituent un pr\u00e9cieux instrument pour l\u2019\u00e9laboration, le suivi et l\u2019\u00e9valuation des plans et programmes de d\u00e9veloppement, tant au niveau national, r\u00e9gional que des collectivit\u00e9s territoriales d\u00e9centralis\u00e9es. Les Nations Unies recommandent aux pays membres de r\u00e9aliser leur RGPH tous les dix ans, afin de disposer de donn\u00e9es sociod\u00e9mographiques actualis\u00e9es, n\u00e9cessaires au cadrage des politiques de d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s le RGPH de 2005, le Cameroun envisage de r\u00e9aliser son quatri\u00e8me RGPH. La r\u00e9alisation de ce vaste projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 institu\u00e9e par le D\u00e9cret Pr\u00e9sidentiel N\u00b0 2015\/397 du 15 septembre 2015 et confi\u00e9e au Bureau Central des Recensements et des Etudes de Population (BUCREP). Le 4\u00e8me RGPH sera ex\u00e9cut\u00e9 en plusieurs phases :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0les activit\u00e9s pr\u00e9paratoires<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0la cartographie censitaire<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0le recensement pilote<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0le d\u00e9nombrement principal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0l\u2019enqu\u00eate post-censitaire<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0l\u2019exploitation et l\u2019analyse des donn\u00e9es collect\u00e9es<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0la publication, la diffusion et la diss\u00e9mination des r\u00e9sultats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Gouvernement a opt\u00e9 pour l\u2019utilisation de smartphones de lors la collecte des donn\u00e9es, dans un souci de disposer des r\u00e9sultats et de raccourcir le d\u00e9lai de mis \u00e0 disposition des r\u00e9sultats.
