Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses nombreux sites touristiques et surtout \u00e0 ses tr\u00e8s belles et luxueuses plages de sable, le chef-lieu du d\u00e9partement de l\u2019Oc\u00e9an fait aujourd\u2019hui partie des destinations pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9es pour les voyageurs internationaux en transit au pays. On ne compte plus le nombre de touristes qui font le d\u00e9placement chaque ann\u00e9e pour visiter soit les chutes de la Lob\u00e9, les festivals de danse traditionnelle ou encore les campements de Pygm\u00e9es r\u00e9partis dans les villages voisins. Et justement, parmi ces nombreux villages voisins \u00e0 Kribi qui participent \u00e0 son rayonnement, on peut citer la localit\u00e9 de Campo, une destination peu connue.<\/p>\n<p>Pour visiter cette destination c\u00f4ti\u00e8re, il faut parcourir 75 km \u00e0 partir de la ville de Kribi. Et \u00e0 cause du mauvais \u00e9tat des routes que les populations ne cessent de d\u00e9crier depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, les voyageurs sont oblig\u00e9s d\u2019emprunter des pirogues pour faire ce d\u00e9placement. Vous avez 03 heures \u00e0 faire en mer pour rallier ce village.<\/p>\n<p>Campo est une petite localit\u00e9 situ\u00e9e \u00e0 75 km de Kribi, \u00e0 700m de Rio Campo (ville guin\u00e9enne), \u00e0 16 km du parc national de Campo Ma\u2019an et \u00e0 12 km de l&rsquo;\u00eele de Dipikar. Avec une superficie de 3500 km\u00b2, Campo c\u2019est aujourd\u2019hui plus de 6000 \u00e2mes et selon les experts, le village pourra atteindre les 9000 habitants d\u2019ici 2035. Parmi les populations, on compte quatre (04) principaux groupes ethniques: Iyassa, Mvae, Mabea, Magyeli (pygm\u00e9e)<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019arrondissement de Campo, qui partage une fronti\u00e8re fluviale de 60 kilom\u00e8tres avec la Guin\u00e9e-\u00e9quatoriale, compte 19 chefferies de 3e degr\u00e9.
