Le service d\u2019AST SpaceMobile, qui sera d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 \u00e0 travers le satellite BlueWalker 3, permettra aux populations de se connecter directement au r\u00e9seau sur leur mobile via les fr\u00e9quences standard 3GPP, sans passer par un \u00e9quipement suppl\u00e9mentaire au sol.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Ivory (photo), le directeur commercial d\u2019AST SpaceMobile, explique qu\u2019\u00e0 travers cette solution directement applicable, l\u2019entreprise \u00ab\u2009cherche non seulement \u00e0 combler les lacunes de la couverture cellulaire \u00e0 large bande pour des millions d\u2019abonn\u00e9s existants, mais aussi \u00e0 \u00e9tendre le service mobile \u00e0 des zones qui n\u2019en ont actuellement que peu ou pas du tout\u2009\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Orange, comme plusieurs op\u00e9rateurs t\u00e9l\u00e9coms, multiplie actuellement les solutions pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande en services t\u00e9l\u00e9coms de qualit\u00e9 qui se d\u00e9veloppe en Afrique. Le satellite est une option qui est d\u00e9j\u00e0 mise en \u0153uvre. Mais elle pr\u00e9sente des limites dans la mesure que les \u00e9quipements au sol sur lesquels sont retransmis le signal ne permettent pas toujours de couvrir avec efficacit\u00e9 les populations install\u00e9es dans les zones recul\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la technologie spatiale d\u2019AST SpaceMobile, Orange pourra apporter le signal partout il faudra. Le consommateur pourra directement se connecter au r\u00e9seau.
