Lundi 4 avril, AZ Factory a lanc\u00e9 sa premi\u00e8re collection depuis la mort de son fondateur, Alber Elbaz, il y a tout juste un an. Elle est sign\u00e9e par le cr\u00e9ateur sud-africain Thebe Magugu, valeur montante de la sph\u00e8re mode de 28 ans, qui n\u2019a pas connu Alber Elbaz. \u00ab Mais nous sommes n\u00e9s sur le m\u00eame continent, lui au Maroc, moi en Afrique du Sud, explique-t-il. Cela m\u2019a permis de poser les bases de cette collection pour laquelle j\u2019ai voulu souligner ce que la couture et la culture africaines ont en commun : l\u2019amour de l\u2019artisanat, le go\u00fbt des histoires. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Thebe Magugu a poursuivi le travail du fondateur en se servant d\u2019imprim\u00e9s de l\u2019artiste franco-alg\u00e9rien Chafik Cheriet, qu\u2019Alber Elbaz avait fait produire mais n\u2019avait pas eu le temps d\u2019utiliser, en \u00e9largissant la gamme de v\u00eatements d\u00e9j\u00e0 existante. Il a aussi inject\u00e9 un peu de son ADN, avec des jupes pliss\u00e9es asym\u00e9triques, des chemises \u00e9l\u00e9gantes. \u00ab Il faisait des habits plut\u00f4t pr\u00e8s du corps et moi assez amples ; j\u2019ai voulu garder cette tension \u00bb, raconte Thebe Magugu. Trenchs z\u00e9br\u00e9s pop, tops \u00e0 volant en polyester recycl\u00e9 et robes drap\u00e9es opulentes cohabitent joyeusement dans une palette de couleurs primaires.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
