{"id":6131,"date":"2022-04-25T05:26:13","date_gmt":"2022-04-25T05:26:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/appsaf.apieproject.com\/news\/?p=6131"},"modified":"2022-04-25T05:26:15","modified_gmt":"2022-04-25T05:26:15","slug":"le-congo-se-lance-dans-la-recherche-en-physique-nucleaire-et-nanotechnologie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/appsaf.apieproject.com\/news\/fr\/2022\/04\/25\/le-congo-se-lance-dans-la-recherche-en-physique-nucleaire-et-nanotechnologie\/","title":{"rendered":"Le Congo se lance dans la recherche en physique nucl\u00e9aire et nanotechnologie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ces deux laboratoires consacr\u00e9s \u00e0 la physique appliqu\u00e9e sont respectivement l\u2019unit\u00e9 de physique nucl\u00e9aire et applications et l\u2019unit\u00e9 de recherche en nanomat\u00e9riaux et nanotechnologie.<\/p>\n<p>Edith Delphine Emmanuel, ministre de l\u2019Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur, de la recherche scientifique et de l\u2019innovation technologique (MESRSIT), affirme que le laboratoire de physique nucl\u00e9aire et applications est d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la surveillance de la pollution marine, naturelle et environnementale.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Dans ce laboratoire, nous analysons la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau des rivi\u00e8res, des mers ainsi que le danger des produits issus des mers que nous consommons \u00bb, pr\u00e9cise Guy Blanchard Dallou, chef de ce laboratoire.<\/p>\n<p>En outre, \u00ab nous faisons la surveillance des sites d\u2019exploitation mini\u00e8re. Nous pr\u00e9levons les \u00e9chantillons pour voir si les populations sont expos\u00e9es aux produits que les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s utilisent pour s\u00e9parer l\u2019or pur de l\u2019or naturel \u00bb, ajoute-t-il.<\/p>\n<p>Interrog\u00e9 par SciDev.Net, Guy Blanchard Dallou poursuit en disant que \u00ab cela va nous permettre de mesurer le radon, un gaz dangereux et tr\u00e8s toxique qui \u00e9mane du sol. Lorsqu\u2019une personne inhale une grande quantit\u00e9 de ce gaz, elle va d\u00e9velopper le cancer des poumons \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Quant \u00e0 l\u2019unit\u00e9 de recherche en nanomat\u00e9riaux et nanotechnologie, la ministre de l\u2019Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur affirme qu\u2019elle se consacrera \u00e0 des travaux de recherche appliqu\u00e9e port\u00e9s sur deux principaux axes.<\/p>\n<p>Elle cite d\u2019une part, le d\u00e9veloppement des nouvelles techniques de nanotechnologie pour la d\u00e9tection et le traitement de maladies dans les parties du corps difficiles \u00e0 atteindre.<\/p>\n<p>Elle \u00e9voque d\u2019autre part le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de cellules solaires \u00e0 faible co\u00fbt et au rendement pouvant rivaliser avec celui du silicium, offrant ainsi de meilleures perspectives concernant les probl\u00e8mes d\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n<p>Equipements<\/p>\n<p>Ces deux laboratoires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9s \u00e0 la faveur d\u2019une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie qui servait aussi de lancement de la Semaine de la science et des technologies ; un \u00e9v\u00e9nement qui se d\u00e9roule jusqu\u2019au 22 avril \u00e0 Kinshasa sur l\u2019autre rive du fleuve Congo \u00e0 l\u2019initiative de l\u2019Association sans but lucratif Investing In People (IIP ASBL) qui a soutenu la mise en place de ces laboratoires.<\/p>\n<p>A cette occasion, Edith Delphine Emmanuel a indiqu\u00e9 que ces unit\u00e9s de recherche sont \u00e9quip\u00e9es, entre autres, de NanoDrop qui permettent de d\u00e9tecter et de quantifier l\u2019ADN (acide d\u00e9soxyribonucl\u00e9ique), de hottes pour travailler dans les conditions st\u00e9riles, et de microscopes pour le laboratoire de physique appliqu\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>A ces \u00e9quipements s\u2019ajoutent les spectrom\u00e9tries alpha et gamma qui servent \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter des substances dangereuses au niveau de la surface des eaux et du sol.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Ces deux laboratoires permettront d\u2019avoir acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une recherche \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle atomique b\u00e9n\u00e9fique pour la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et l\u2019acquisition des donn\u00e9es environnementales \u00bb, souligne la ministre.<\/p>\n<p>Pour Christian Aim\u00e9 Kayath, chercheur en biotechnologique (microbiologie appliqu\u00e9e et biologie mol\u00e9culaire), cette dotation en mat\u00e9riels est une bonne opportunit\u00e9 pour les chercheurs congolais en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et ceux de l\u2019IRSEN en particulier.<\/p>\n<p>Car, explique-t-il, ils vont s\u2019arrimer aux nouvelles technologies, ce qui leur permettra d\u2019identifier si l\u2019eau est contamin\u00e9e ou non par des hydrocarbures, des sources radioactives ou autres particules toxiques.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab La technologie des sources radioactives est employ\u00e9e dans les domaines de la radioactivit\u00e9 humaine, de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de la lutte contre la pollution de l\u2019environnement, de l\u2019agriculture, de la sant\u00e9 et de l\u2019intelligence artificielle \u00bb, pr\u00e9cise Christian Aim\u00e9 Kayath qui est par ailleurs conseiller au cabinet du MESRSIT<\/p>\n<p>Joseph Tchimbakala Goma, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019IRSEN rappelle au passage que depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, l\u2019institution s\u2019att\u00e8le \u00e0 moderniser ses infrastructures de recherche avec l\u2019aide de l\u2019Etat congolais et la sollicitude de partenaires, principalement le syst\u00e8me des
