The 2-day event which took place at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island Lagos had in attendance over 2000 young people from different sectors of the fashion industry who gathered to gain knowledge from veterans in the fashion industry and showcase their craft as well as representatives from the banking industry, lifestyle, e-commerce, and the fashion industry.<\/p>\n
Emerging fashion entrepreneurs were given the opportunity to showcase and grow their craft while discussing the issues facing the African fashion industry and celebrating timeless and ingenue designs.<\/p>\n
It also featured a panel made up of stakeholders and veterans from the fashion, finance, and legal sectors.<\/p>\n
The CEO of Fashions Finest Africa and Founder of the event, Sola Oyebade stated that \u201cthe aim of Fashions Finest Africa and Epic Show is to bridge the gap between New and emerging fashion entrepreneurs and their dreams and aspirations in the industry, essentially empowering them to succeed in this fast-growing industry that has the ability to be the highest-grossing industry in the world\u201d.<\/p>\n
He further explained that \u201cmost new and emerging fashion entrepreneurs, whether they are designers, leather wear manufacturers, make-up artists, hairstylists, influences or even fashion show producers in most cases have no access to the right knowledge, financing or platform to showcase their craft and gain visibility as the options available are usually too expensive or too high end for them, hence the reason why the Epic Show was created, to provide a safe haven that allows these entrepreneurs to gain first-hand knowledge and improve their craft while also promoting commerce.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
